Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-04
1. What we collect
- Usage events: page views, calculations run, shares, and outbound link clicks
- An anonymous session identifier (a random UUID that does not identify you)
- Referral data: share-link parameters (ref/via) and the referring URL
We do not collect anything that identifies you personally — no email, name, or phone number. There is no field to enter them.
2. How we use it
To improve the service and understand how it's used and where visitors come from. This is anonymous, aggregate analytics — we do not identify individuals or build advertising profiles.
3. Retention
Usage events and session identifiers are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted.
4. Processors & third parties
- Infrastructure: Railway (server and database hosting)
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC), used to measure aggregate traffic and social reach. Google may process this data outside your country under its own terms.
- Market data: Coinbase public API — no personal data is sent
- Affiliate links: when you follow one, the destination exchange's own privacy policy applies (links are clearly marked as affiliate links)
5. Cookies & analytics storage
We store a random identifier in your browser (localStorage/cookies) for anonymous session measurement, and Google Analytics sets its own cookies for aggregate analytics. You can delete or block these in your browser settings; blocking them only limits measurement and does not affect your use of the site.
6. Your rights
There are no accounts and we never collect your email, so we have no way to link what we store back to you as an individual. You don't need to file a request: clearing your browser's site data and cookies removes this site's identifier immediately, and the site keeps working afterwards.
